I am fortunate to have some incredible models for my paintings. My favorite long-eared model is Josie! She is a DUI-Donkey Under the Influence® of Christmas! Josie and her miniature friends are frequent visitors to the JoyEful Gallery & Studio. They have such fun costumes. This is one of her Christmas costumes that she wore to my holiday show. Josie is one of the stars of the Tender Little Hearts Mini Tales and Assisted Equine Services.
Santa and Mrs. Claus came to my gallery for a fun photo shoot. Their costumes were incredible, and their stories had me laughing for hours. By the end of our time together, I believed in Santa Claus again! I met Santa Richard when he came by my gallery to pick up and deliver my large painting, Cougar Cat Nap, to the Phoenix Zoo as part of their permanent collection. I mentioned that Richard looked like Santa and would love him to model for me. I did not know that he and his wife were the Phoenix Zoo Santa and Mrs. Claus for Zoo Lights.
I cannot wait to work on the next painting. What will the JoyEful Party Animals be under the influence of next?
