My favorite donkey model, Josie the mini therapy donkey struck the perfect pose for this painting. Josie is part of the Tender Little Hearts Mini Equine Therapy Organization. It is a nonprofit group that provides so much to our community. One of Josie’s many duties are the reading programs for local schools. She listens patiently to students as they practice reading.
The first title that hit me was “Wise Ass”. I tried to clean it up to be kid friendly language. All I came up with was DUI-Donkeys Under the Influence of Books. I decided to own my sarcasm and accept I am a wise ass.
