Don’t Worry, Bee Happy© JoyEful Party Animals®
Oil on canvas | 36 x 24 (Framed 42 x 30)
I met Indy when she was about 9 weeks old. I was able to take lots of photos of her which inspired a series of paintings of her. You will see many more paintings from this incredible encounter with her.
Indy has such an expressive face and lovable disposition. She will not be able to be released into the wild. She was taken too early from her mother from someone attempting to sell her on Facebook. Fortunately, the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center helped to intervene and get Indy a healthy start in life. She is now thriving with plenty of room to roam in her habitat at the Wildcat Sanctuary in Sandstone, MN.
Fun Tiger Facts:
Each Bengal tiger has a distinct set of stripes like fingerprints. Their canine teeth are about four inches in length, making them the longest of any living cat. Their long teeth and retractable claws make them ideal for climbing trees.
