Cotton tailed rabbits are a common sight at our home. They dig a hole and flop down to cool off. We prefer a cold, frosty beer instead of digging in the dirt!
My props for this painting gave me a bit of a challenge. I had my glasses in the freezer to give them a frosted appearance for my reference photos. I had to work quickly pouring the beer before the frost disappeared. I couldn’t get the foam even in the glasses. I started attempted to even it out by taking drinks out of the glasses. That led to pouring more beer in the glasses. I finally gave up and painted the uneven foam. Did I say I love my painting research and reference photo shoots?
