I loved painting all of this cute fuzz and the eye of the bunny. It is a 9x12 oil painting on primed panel. It is very different from painting on stretched canvas. I find painting on primed panel requires patience and attention to the fine details. The surface is very slick. I have to paint in multiple layers to build up the depth of fur, background and foreground perspective. Every brushstroke shows up on the panel. My tiny detail brushes got quite a workout on this painting. It looks like I will be ordering new brushes!
I can't wait to see the custom frame by my talented framer and friend, Ron! Here is the link to adopt these peeps. http://joye.fineartstudioonline.com/workszoom/2367904
