A Party Animal is one who finds joy in the moment,

Whose choices are not influenced by popularity or prestige,

Who relishes the moment,

The glass, the setting, the company.

A Party Animal drinks not to forget the past,

Or resurrect it,

But to relish the experiences

That brought us to this moment.

A Party Animal looks for courage within

And in the glass, fine-cut or well-priced,

Sees the skill of the craft

And the bounties of the earth.

These "JoyEful Party Animals" (TM) just joined the celebration! I played around a lot with the title for this one. I had a tough time deciding between "Wine and Cheese" (c) and "Nice Pairing" (c). This was a fun painting, but labor intensive! I loved painting the fur on the goats and the red reflections of the wine.
I have been searching for the perfect goats to add to the "JoyEful Party Animals" (TM) for quite awhile. Thank you Archie Tucker for the wonderful reference photograph.
