Pastel Poinsettia. I love working with live flowers. I love any excuse to buy fresh flowers to paint! Going back to my pastel basics. I did this as a class demo starting in pastels. Fun to watch them explore different techniques.

Bunny Face is enjoying more adventures. I was pleased to receive notification he was juried into the 2015 Scottsdale Artist's School Best & Brightest Show. Opening night and Artists Reception is January 9, 2015; the show will hang through February 27, 2015. In addition to being on display at the School, Bunny Face will be on display and available for sale in the Best & Brightest Gallery on the School’s website: www.scottsdaleartschool.org

OPA Letter

Dear OPA Online Auction Participant,

 

As you know, our first online auction was unfortunately delayed due to technical issues which have since been resolved.　 We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you.

We are happy to report that the online auction has been rescheduled for　Thursday, December 4, at　10:00 a.m. CENTRAL TIME.

 

Please note! A couple of important changes:

There will now be a　three-week　preview period prior to the actual auction date of　Thursday, December 4, 2014. 　 During this preview period, collectors are strongly encouraged to place an absentee bid for any painting(s) they are interested in purchasing at this time.

　　

When the live auction begins on　December 4, the automated　online　system will competitively bid for any absentee buyers who have already placed his/her bid until their purchase price has been accepted or until the bidding has reached the maximum level for which the buyer is willing to spend.

The live auction will begin promptly at　10:00 a.m.　Central Time on　Thursday, December 4, 2014.　Any collectors wishing to bid during the actual auction that did NOT place an absentee bid during the three-week preview period must remember to register in advance and be online　promptly at　10:00 a.m.　Central Time. 　　(We recommend registering two days or more before the auction).　 Paintings will be auctioned one at a time.　 The amount of bidding activity will determine the amount of time each painting is on the auction block.
