This is a commission for a special Birthday surprise. I love being part of gifts which have so much love and thought put into them. It is so fun working with people to create their fun story in their painting. It has taught me to work hard, play hard and always take time to laugh!

"Looks Like A Birdie To Me" © “JoyEful Party Animals” ™

This painting is a "smaller study" (16 x 20) for the 2 larger version paintings (3'x4') of the Boulders Golf Course in my studio.  I had a blast borrowing one of the golf carts and hitting the Boulders Golf Course at dawn's first light. Such a magical, beautiful place.  I didn't take golf clubs, just a camera and ready for an adventure.  I hope this enthusiasm and energy comes through in the paintings.  If you are a golfer...this is a "must do" on your golf list!  If is you are a non-golfer...still a must do on your list.  The Boulders Resort is spectacular.  If you are in the area, don't forget to stop by and say hello at The Gallery at el Pedregal where I'm the Head Artist in Residence.  Oh...of course...my favorite water hole is next door...The Spotted Donkey.  (Not to mention my other favorite places, Adelante Gallery and Stefan Mann Leather Goods Store.)  Did I say, I Love My Job and this Rabbit Trail???
