This painting "Passing on the Gift of Nature to Future Generations" was awarded the Viewer's Choice Award for the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Juried Art Exhibition.  It is part of the permanent collection of the Arizona State Governor's Office.  It hangs in the office of Governor Jan Brewer.

I am thrilled to have my pastel painting "Bridge of Sighs" juried as a semi-finalist into the Cave Creek Film and Art Festival.

This is the mural I painted for Desert Arroyo Middle School in 2009.  The Black Eyed Susan flowers were added for my friend Susan who passed away as I completed this mural.  They were her favorite flowers.  Sadly, Desert Arroyo Middle School was closed at the end of the 2010 school year.

I'm new to this "blog stuff" but it seems like a natural step in the creative process.  So...here it goes...I will try to post some of my latest work.  Please forgive my "learning curve" as I play around with this new medium.

This is an etched window I just completed a few days ago.
